I’m in my senior year at the beautiful Ramapo College of New Jersey, and am definitely anxious about the rest of my life after graduation.
My major is Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, and I also picked up a Math minor simply because I love numbers and solving problems.
I’m one of the founding brothers of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity on campus, and the experience has taught me things about business that you just don't learn about in class.
One of the things I'm going to miss most about college is being on the track team. There is no bond like the one you form with other people while catching your breath after a grueling workout. I may not know what the future holds for me after graduation, but what I do know is that fitness is something I will always make time for.A few days before returning to school for the fall semester, I stumbled upon the internship program here through my college's job bank. After perusing the company's website, I knew this was the place for me.
I applied for the internship immediately, and in a blur of a week including several emails and an interview, I found myself in an office that was my professional Disney World (because who wouldn't be thrilled about a beer and iced coffee tap in the workplace!?). You could say I was a late-round pick because I applied during the final stretch of internship season, but better late than never!
Tardiness is actually one of my pet-peeves. You can ask any of my friends and they'll tell you I can be annoyingly conscious of being on time to anything. That's basically my one hard rule, but I'm otherwise pretty easygoing. I spent my summer going to the beach, reading fiction/fantasy and being active. (I also took two summer courses, so you can't say I was totally unproductive!)
When it comes to fitness, nothing makes me happier than trying new things and seeing what sticks. I have tried various activities from CrossFit to biking to hot yoga, and I'm constantly looking for something else to be introduced to.
I find that this adventurous attitude extends to all aspects of my life. I have big dreams of traveling within the country and around the world, becoming a successful professional and always enjoying life!
Some other passions of mine include drinking coffee, spending time with my cat Sammy, reading motivational quotes and lyrics and ogling delicious foods online.
Even though I have only been here for a week, I can already tell that it’s a good fit for me and my personality. Needless to say, I am extremely excited about interning with The DSM Group and learning the ins and outs of inbound marketing.
