The 4th of July is right around the corner. Do you have any plans in Bergen County for the 4th?

Even if your town isn't hosting a parade, BBQ or fireworks, why not travel a town or two over with your family for a day filled with food and fun?

Our marketing agency compiled a list of towns in Bergen County that are hosting 4th of July events ranging from free concerts and outdoor activities for kids to 5Ks and much more. 

Allendale

When: July 4, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Crestwood Lake
Details: Band concert & fireworks, rain date is scheduled for July 5th.

Cresskill

When: July 4, 10 a.m.
Where: Community Center on 3rd Street
Details: Tickets are needed, rain date is scheduled for July 7th.

East Rutherford

When: July 3 and 4, fireworks begin after 10:30 pm
Where: New Jersey State Fair Meadowlands
Details: Free with fair admission, includes rides, attractions, food, live performances and two nights of fireworks.

 

Glen Rock

When: July 4, 8:30 a.m.
Where: Veteran's Park on Main Street
Details: 11th Annual Glen Rock 9/11 Tribute 5K, 2K Junior Run and Mile Run.

Hackensack & South Hackensack 

When: July 4, 9 a.m.- 10 p.m.
Where: Foschini Park, East Camden St., Hackensack, NJ 07601
Details: Free, full day of events, flea market begins at 9 am.

 

 

Hasbrouck Heights

When: June 30, 6 p.m.- July 3, 10 p.m.
Where: Depken Field on Oldfield Avenue 
Details: Free event, fireworks on monday evening, Children's parade scheduled for July 4th at 10 a.m. 

Leonia

When: July 2, 6 p.m.-10 p.m. 
Where: Overpeck County Park- 199 Challenger Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07605
Details: $10 to enter, 4 day Sports Booster Carnival. 

Maywood

When: Sunday, July 6
Where: Memorial Park- Maywood, NJ
Details: Live preshow entertainment before the fireworks, Fourth of July Parade taking place on July 4th.

Oradell

When: July 5, 9 p.m. 
Where: Oradell Public Library, 375 Kinderkamack Rd. Oradell, NJ 07649
Details: Fourth of July Parade at 9 a.m. on July 4th, fireworks display the following evening. 

Paramus

When: 6:30 p.m.-10 p.m. 
Where: Cliff Gennarelli Paramus Sports-Plex - Garden State Plaza Pkwy, Paramus, NJ 07652
Details: Free, three-day event starting on July 4th, fireworks on the evening of the 6th. 

Ramsey

When: July 4, 6 p.m. - July 5, 10 p.m.
Where: Finch Park- Church St,Ramsey, NJ 07446
Details: Free admission, children's entertainment and concerts, shuttle service will be offered from the Ramsey Train Station and Tisdale School.

Ridgefield & Ridgefield Park 

When: July 3, 6 p.m.-10 p.m. 
Where: Veterans Memorial Field- Banta & WalnutRidgefield, NJ 07657
Details: Food, free concert/music and facepainting for kids, the borough suggests bringing a blanket or chairs.

Ridgewood

When: July 4, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. & 6 p.m.-9 p.m. 
Where: Wilsey Square, Ridgewood, NJ 07450 United States
Details: The day begins with a flag raising and continues until 11 a.m. The day ends with a concert at 6 p.m. and a fireworks display after the gates are closed at 9 p.m. The theme this year is “The Star Spangled Banner 1814-2014.″

Saddle Brook & Saddle River

When: July 3, 9 p.m.-10 p.m.
Where: Saddle River County Park- 760 Saddle River Rd, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663
Details: There will be a community picnic and fishing tournament on Saturday, June 28th.

Tenafly

When: July 3, 9 p.m.
Where: Behind the Tenafly High School
Details: There will be a concert before the fireworks, display made possible by the financial support of local businesses and residents.
